As well as concentrating on academics and giving back to our local community, Omega Delta Phi - SMU Sigma Chapter recognizes college life should also be about having fun. We host parties at local clubs every other semester, as a way of providing additional funds to the chapter. We also host fundraising and service events on or off campus and attend in fundraising and service events of our local chapters to show them our support.

Every year, we host a banquet to celebrate the end of the academic year's efforts, where we give brothers awards on their contributations and highlight them on their efforts, such as: highest GPA, alumni of the year, brother of the year, most service hours, etc.  ​

Our members participate in the EASA (East Asian Student Association) Night Market, CHAS (College Hispanic American Students) and LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens) organizations, and do mixers with other Greek organzations within our council (Multicultural Greek Council).​ Some of our brothers are also involved with SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers).
