Omega Delta Phi - SMU Sigma Chapter

In the Spring of 1997, at SMU in Dallas, Texas, eleven men and one faculty advisor founded a brotherhood under the club name UNIDOS.

On April 19, 1997, in Flagstaff, Arizona, the group became a colony at a national convention hosted by Iota chapter. On April 28, 1997, the colony was chartered and officially recognized by SMU as the fraternity: Omega Delta Phi Fraternity Inc. Nearly a year later, on April 4, 1998, the SMU ODPhi colony received chapter status, which would then become known as Sigma chapter of Omega Delta Phi Inc., during a national convention held by Gamma Chapter at the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona.
